Directions to Stancombe Manor

From Exeter, take the A38 towards Plymouth. At Buckfastleigh, take the A384 Kingsbridge-Totnes road and in Totnes take the A381 towards Kingsbridge.

Caution! Narrow lanes!!

After 6 miles, having gone through the village of Halwell and about half a mile after the BP garage on the left, turn left marked “Slapton/Valley Springs” . Continue for 0.7 miles then turn sharp right at Hingston Post signposted East Allington. After a further 0.6 miles (Kellaton Cross), cross staggered junction (left/right). Continue for 1.5 miles past Lower Coombe farm and Coles Cross, then fork left at Kingsbridgefork Cross. Continue for another 0.8 miles to Stancombe Cross and turn left. Marigold Cottage is one of the first buildings you find on the right at the bottom of the hill.

You can park a car by the “garage doors” just by the gate to Marigold Cottage to unload. Please then use the dedicated space in the main car park.
